It’s already 7 days into 2024. In the past I would post something at the end or beginning of the year. I wasn’t interested to make any this time, but the Bloganuary offers an interesting prompt which I think would make a good introspective post about the year past.
What could you do differently?
Let’s start with what took place in 2023.
- We went on several trips that year, together and separately. I could say it’s one of the most traveled years in my life. Mostly we went to domestic destinations, and we also managed to go abroad twice. One was on a whim.
- After successfully lost 25 kilograms in 2022, I gained 15 kilograms in 2023!
- It wasn’t exactly a stellar year for me. The reason for the weight gain was I overeat to compensate for stress.
- I tried to start running again without success. I signed up for a 10K in July, but I failed to prepare myself and decided to cancel.
If I could do 2023 differently, I would:
- Make my travels more meaningful by writing posts about them.
- Meditate and pray more to reduce my stress.
- Stop spending time overthinking and start doing more actions.
- Run faithfully to keep my weight and control my depression.
That, I think, would be my mission in 2024.
